The inspiration of this lamp lay in the V2 rocket from the Tin Tin comics. The lamp is designed to produce a gentle downward glow of light reflected by the matte finished steel shade, which is manually bent from a steel sheet to produce this downlighter shape. The top of the shade is painted in the duco paint of your choice. The tripod-shaped base uses mortise and tenon joinery and is crafted from reclaimed teak.
