This wonderfully hybrid design is a Mid Century piece inspired by the Art Deco period just before it. Created specifically for India with the rattan back, it is light and makes a room feel less constricted. The auotomotive paint used on the sides adds a distinct attitude and looks best when coordinated with the fabric of your choice. Like everything else, this too is made of reclaimed teak and has our signature polish of beeswax and linseed oil. It is named for the Gateway to the old Silk Route because of the Uzbeki Suzanis we love to use for the seat.
